Weston-sub-Edge - recorded in Domesday - lies at the foot of Dovers Hill, 3 miles from Chipping Campden. Named after Robert Dover who organised his ‘Olympick’ Games there from 1612, it is a well-known beauty spot with extensive views over the surrounding countryside. The church is 13th Century and retains a number of its original features. The Romans are said to have grown vines here.
