Winchcombe

self catering holiday accommodation in & around this ancient saxon town

Winchcombe is a small, unspoilt Cotswold town where you will still find a wealth of unique shops and places to eat and drink. It is an ideal base for walking in the Cotswolds being at the intersection of the Cotswold Way, the Gloucestershire Way, the Wardens Way, the Windrush Way, the Wychavon Way and the unofficial St Kenelm's Way. There are inns, restaurants, tea rooms, and shops all along the three main Winchcombe streets, which are are full of the character and redolent of times past. The magnificent Sudely Castle, the stone age Belas Knap long barrow and the ancient ruined Abbey at Hailes are all close by.
