Self Catering Cotswold Holiday Cottage Accommodation in the Cotswold Water Park for 11 to 16 persons
Cotswold Water Park covers an area of 40 square miles - roughly the same size as the island of Jersey - and contains more than 150 lakes with 150km of paths and cycleways.
The Water Park is the catchment area of the Upper Thames and, over millions of years, vast deposits of sand & gravel were laid down here as the Cotswolds were eroded into the
Thames. In 1967, it was designated the Cotswold Water Park and today, 20,000 people live in the Park, with more than 500,000 visitors every year. The Cotswold Water Park is
divided into three main parts: The Western section stretches from Poole Keynes, through Somerford Keynes, Shorncote & Ashton Keynes, to South Cerney. The Central section runs
from Cerney Wick & Cricklade, across the A419, to beyond Latton & Down Ampney, while the Eastern section includes the villages of Kempsford, Fairford, Whelford & Lechlade.
